Some Good moths!

A Scarce Bordered Straw was a pleasant surprise when opening the moth trap this morning (29/8/06). Other good moths recently included a Sqaure Spotted Clay (25/8/06), 2 White Points (23/8/06) and a Small Mottled Willow (21/8/06). A good run of moths! (Dersingham)

Immigrant Moths!





It has been a good year for migrant moths at Holme NOA, Norfolk and here are photos of some trapped in recent weeks. From top: Great Brocade, Scarce Silver Y, Small Mottled Willow and Marbled Clover. All these species are known migratory species.
