We have reluctantly decided to end trapping at Denver for the year (without catching the target of December moth!) because the cable runs through our bedroom window and it was getting rather cold... Trapping will recommence around March or April 2007.

Very disappointing trap on 2/12/06 - not so much the fact that not a single moth was caught, but that the previous night had perfect conditions and would have been almost guaranteed to trap the target moth: December Moth! Needless to say, we were not able to trap the previous night, and 2/12/06 started well but rained constantly after about 2 hours of putting the trap out...

On a brighter note, the Young Norfolk Birders moth report for 2006 is complete and will be available very soon.
